Product Specialist
This individual will be responsible for reviewing data files from suppliers
and buyers and assisting in the classification process. They will also be
responsible for documenting and improving current processes. Opportunities to
take on additional responsibilities exist, such as project management.
Requirements: Licensed registered nurse or Allied Healthcare Professional
preferred. Minimum five years clinical, allied and/or materials management
experience. Experience in one of the following areas required: Perioperative,
Cath/Lab, Pharmacy or Radiology. Must be a motivated team player with good
communication skills. Extensive knowledge preferred in surgical instrumentation,
invasive and/or endoscopic products. Must be proficient in computer skills.
Operations: Project Management
Account Managers
Candidates will have 6-8 years experience in the healthcare industry preferably in materials management or a leading healthcare consulting practice. Ability to work with major healthcare Integrated Delivery Networks to develop B2B eProcurement solutions, assemble the appropriate project team required to provide the desired solution, and manage the implementation. Positions available in Nashville, TN., Naples, FL., and Dallas, TX.
Project Managers
Candidates will have 3-5 years in healthcare materials management or a healthcare consulting practice. Responsibilities will include documentation of customer procurement and related information process flows, development of future state process flow solutions and supporting project plans, along with coordination and implementation of empactbuy B2B eProcurement solutions. Experience with and utilization of Microsoft Project project planning software a must. 30-50% travel a requirement.
Business Analysts
Aggressive, hard working individuals with an interest in healthcare materials management and/or supply chain operations. Candidates will assist project implementation teams in the areas of B2B eProcurement and related I.T. solutions within healthcare materials management organizations. Experience with project management
software (Microsoft Project) and development of project plans a must. 30-50% travel a requirement.

Manager, Configuration Management
Position will be responsible for assisting in the creation, implementation and reporting of Configuration Management policies, procedures, standards and guidelines. Candidates should have a four year college degree; three year's experience working with CM in a software development environment; IT technical writing experience; general knowledge and/or understanding of SEI CMM and/or ISO9000 applicable principles is preferred; MS Office 97; Internet experience; lead or supervisory experience and strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Business Intelligence Portal Developer
Primary responsibilities include:
- design and develop Business Intelligence Web Portal
- manage Portal development and Cognos Web application publication (including Impromptu, PowerPlay, Query and Vizualizer)
- analyze user requirements; create and customize portal/ongoing development
- leverage the Cognos toolset in OLAP solution development
- aid in managing security within the portal by working with the security administrator

You will work in the Business Intelligence team and be responsible for the following: business requirements analysis, event modeling, architecture design, dimensional data modeling, data acquisition analysis and design, design of logical and physical data models. The following experience (3-5 years) and skill set are required: enterprise architecture design, multi-dimensional design (OLAP), hands-on experience with OLAP applications, and extensive knowledge of Microsoft SQL server 7.0. BS in Computer Science/Engineering/Mathematics or equivalent work experience desired. Experience in healthcare and supply chain is a plus.
Senior Database Analysts - SQL Server 7.0
The empactHealth.com solution relies heavily on Microsoft SQL Server 7.0. Responsible for providing centralized database management for SQL database supporting business to business e-commerce systems nationwide--including database design, installation, configuration and tuning and support requirements of the Technology Group to maintain operations of n-tier web/database applications. Must possess extensive knowledge of Microsoft SQL server 7.0 required. 2 - 3 years experience with large database operations a must. Strong knowledge of NT server required. BS in Computer Science or Mathematics or equivalent work experience desired.
Software Developer - Reports
You will work in the Business Intelligence team and be responsible for the design, development testing, installation and trouble shooting of business reports. The following experience and skill set are required: developing reports using Visual Basic, Microsoft SQL Server 7.0, OLAP applications. BS in Computer Science/Engineering/Mathematics or equivalent work experience desired. Experience in healthcare and supply chain is a plus.
