J. Edward Pearson, Jr.
President and Chief Executive Officer
As President and CEO, Mr. Pearson is responsible for all strategies, operations and relationships for the company. Prior to his appointment as President and CEO, Mr. Pearson served as Chief Technology Officer. In 1999, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of empactHealth.com where he also was a co-founder of the company, prior to its merger with Medibuy.
Before empactHealth.com, Mr. Pearson served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for HIE, Inc. (since acquired by Quovadx), a healthcare integration solutions provider. Prior to HIE, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Inforum, Inc., a leading provider of strategic planning and marketing software and content for the healthcare industry. During Mr. Pearson's tenure at Inforum, the company successfully completed its private financing, initial public offering and merger with MEDSTAT Group, Inc.
Mr. Pearson earned his B.B.A. degree from Middle Tennessee State University, and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is active on several boards of civic and community organizations in Nashville.
